Selling your car on line - the sales people -they really need help!

Been taking toa  number of people who have either tried or looked at selling their cars on line. A new fad at the moment to dave time and give you the best deals? Or so you are told.

Tried this exercise out the other days and got prices from $9090 to $12500 but the only guaranteed one was the $9090. To access the $12500 was a hit and miss once they viewed your car or only if you met the vague criteria exactly and even then they couldn't guarantee the price quoted (Estimated) as being their final price.

The last thing you want to do when selling a service is piss the customers off. However this seems to be the norm.... a number of people got the idea their car was worth close to the estimated price only to turn up and get offered a whole lot less. Then to have absolutely no room to negotiate up were told this is the final price and to bad if you don't like it.

While this is a good business move to manage risk when buying cars it sends people to social media to beat up the dealers here buying on behalf of other dealers. So if your used car stream dries up look at the attitude and selling expertise of the new middle man.

These middle men get paid a pittance to make an assessment and buy your car therefore they should be looking at volume of numbers to make money. To have an attitude with customers is not going to end well. To have an office with no waiting area (apparently) so you can here the previous client loosing the plot with his offer doesn't rank highly in the best salesperson of the years awards.

Negotiation is all about both parties thinking they got a good deal or at least the best deal they could not altermatums.
