Thank You Letter

Dears,

We are thrilled to share the success of the SIAL Shenzhen 2024, which took place from September 2-4 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. Over these three days, we brought together exhibitors from 32 countries and regions, showcasing top-tier food and beverage products to an impressive 65,637 professionals from around the globe.

A Global Gathering of Innovation and Trade

SIAL has long been recognized for its commitment to Internationality, Innovation, and Trade. This year, we were honored to welcome government officials, business associations, and media representatives from 15 countries, including China, France, the United States, Turkey, Vietnam, Spain, Sri Lanka, Chile, Ecuador, the Philippines, Australia, Austria, the United Kingdom, Poland, and the Netherlands. Their presence underscored SIAL Shenzhen’s role as a leading international trade platform in the food and beverage industry and the exclusive gateway to Southern China’s booming food and beverage market.

Our exhibition featured a rich array of products and innovations, attracting both domestic and international buyers. Highlights included the SIAL Innovation and the SIAL in China Awards, which showcased cutting-edge products and ideas. SIAL Shenzhen has firmly established itself as a cornerstone trade fair in the global food and beverage industry, reflecting the dynamic growth and opportunities in the Greater Bay Area and South Asia.

Together, we successfully showcased international products and regional specialties and also propelled Chinese food and beverage brands onto the global stage, enabling top international and domestic buyers to better understand, appreciate, and purchase these high-quality, cost-effective products from China and other countries.

Enhancing Trade Connections

At SIAL Shenzhen, we are dedicated to providing high-quality trade services. Our “Match Me” program was a standout success, facilitating over 4,100 tailored matchmaking meetings between exhibitors and professional buyers. This initiative significantly enhanced the efficiency of supply and demand collaborations, leading to numerous trade deals. Notably, enterprises from the Greater Bay Area signed on-site agreements totaling $18.765 million USD with Hubei agribusinesses, alongside $16.68 million USD in orders with leading companies from Shenyang.

Collective Success through Partnership

The success of this year’s exhibition was made possible through strong collaboration with various governmental and industry bodies. We extend our deepest thanks to the Foreign and Economic Cooperation Center, MARA, P.R. China, the China Chamber of Commerce of l/E of Foodstuffs Native Produce and Animal By-products (CFNA), and the China Aquatic Products Processing and Marketing Alliance. Additionally, we appreciate the support from provincial government departments and associations across China, including those from Anhui, Guizhou, Guangdong, Guangxi, Heilongjiang, Hubei, Hunan, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Shandong, Sichuan, Shanxi, Xinjiang, Yunnan, and Zhejiang.
