Transformation with AI: Reshaping your businesses' future in 2024.

Throughout the artificial intelligence (AI) path of 2023, we have witnessed not only innovation but also some corporate transformation. In 2024, their impact will persist in expanding businesses worldwide.

Each corporate executive is embarking on a distinct artificial intelligence expedition, endeavoring to comprehend their position in the swiftly evolving story and the emergence of multimodal AI models. 

Businesses are more aware of AI applications. 

  • According to Forbes, over 4 out of 5 businesses consider artificial intelligence to be a high priority in their company plans. 
  • According to a staggering 83% of businesses, integrating AI into their business plans is a key objective.
  • Two of the most prevalent applications of AI in regular corporate communications are chatbots and automated emails.

The community was recently agitated by OpenAI, the firm behind ChatGPT, a well-known AI chatbot program when it unveiled Sora, a tool that turns text into simulated films. Recently, Google also renamed the ChatGPT-like software Bard to Gemini, promoting Gemini as having more features than its predecessor and even more features for a higher cost.

Given that AI is predicted to drastically alter behavior for both corporations and individual users, the competition for this technology is only going to intensify. 

Stories about AI's potential prediction will cease to exist; instead, I think companies will need to move from considering AI as a "nice to have" to a "must have."

The FOMO effect: Scared to be left behind the race.

AI is being seen as the next big thing. Similar to how executives flocked to adopt digital models and smartphone apps in the past, many are now keen to incorporate AI into their business processes, frequently feeling pressured by FOMO (fear of missing out). 

Given that AI can completely transform customer relations, corporate operations, and competitive environments, this urgency makes sense.

However, there are drawbacks to this quick adoption of AI. Adopting new technology is not the only aspect of the process. Personally, as a firm that employs and operates new AI programs, I see the importance of understanding the operational and financial implications of AI while ensuring that it is consistent with our values and mission.

So, how should you deploy AI in your business? Here's how I utilize it in mine:

Utilize AI sensibly and morally. 

Although AI adoption contains significant dangers, it has the potential to yield many transformative benefits. As such, companies must establish a policy framework and set of guidelines to govern the use of data and systems management morally and sensibly.

Companies must develop internal policies and stay current on applicable local and international rules as the effects of AI rise and regulatory frameworks continue to change. The government must handle data security and privacy, as well as the ethical and appropriate application of AI, promptly.

This entails putting in place stringent cybersecurity safeguards to account for potential risks posed by AI systems as well as ongoing training and upskilling to guarantee staff members are equipped to handle risk. 

Businesses developing AI applications will need to think about applying security, privacy, and trust into their design processes at every stage of the innovation lifecycle, including when applying AI to commercial operations and services.
