TranSystems Celebrates Women's History Month - Spotlight on Shelby Mojahed

Shelby has 5 years of experience, joining us with BCE and currently serving as a Mechanical Engineer in Tacoma, WA.

 

What is the best way to uplift and support women in STEM and/or leadership roles?

I believe the best way to uplift and support women in STEM and leadership roles is through mentorship, sponsorship, and creating inclusive environments where diverse voices are heard and valued.

 

What advice do you have for other women in your field?

My advice to other women in the MEP engineering field is never to underestimate the value of your skills and expertise, seek growth opportunities, and advocate for yourself and others.  


What motivates you in your life and/or career?

I’m motivated by the opportunity to solve complex problems, to make a positive impact through my work, and to inspire the next generation of women in engineering.

 

What do you love about working at TranSystems? How has TranSystems helped you succeed/grow in your career?

As a mechanical engineer at TranSystems, I appreciate the collaborative environment, the support for professional development, and the opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge and inspire me. I hope to continue pushing boundaries, taking on new challenges, and contributing to meaningful projects that make a difference.
