WAKE UP AMERICA!

Sadly True!

This is the second presidential debate for the highest post in the nation that the most important issue of our time and the future was not raised by the moderators - GLOBAL CLIMATE CRISIS.

As a dual citizen of both USA as well as EU, and conducting trans Atlantic business, the contrast between the two media markets can't be more pronounced, where unfortunately in the US this vitally important issue is marginalized. In EU, and other parts of the world, the media has long ago accepted the scientific data and high degree of effort is currently being expedited to address this existential danger to all of humanity. Not only is it the right thing to make it a top priority, but those countries forging ahead of the US in this area are and will continue enjoy a long term economic advantage (distributed and renewable energy technologies and project implementation).

The presidential debates are just the result of this way of thinking and a symptom of monopolization of US media outlets. Unfortunately, it seems that the coverage this issue does not fit the financial requirements of the controlling incumbents.

I hope to raise a healthy discussion on this subject, outlining the dangers associated with this status quo, that in my opinion, is highly dangerous for the long term viability of the American democratic system.

I would prefer that contributors to any discussion refrain from the use of standard media shill arguments on this subject.
