While Muslims Slept

Agreeing or disagreeing with student protestors in #columbia #university and other #US campuses in one thing. The current situation begs a question: what have #Muslim "educational institutions" done to their students on THEIR campuses. Hey university Pharaohs (o i think you call yourselves professors and deans) just answer one question: Why do our students in #Pakistan #Jordan #Egypt #Bangladesh not have the same level of awareness that those in whose name top universities in Pakistan teach their unadulterated nonsense?

Its not the responsibility of the American student to face the working end of NYPD and National guard weaponry. It was not #Aaronbushnell's responsibility to burn himself to death. The responsibility was ours to declare in unequivocal terms on which side of history we were. And you university teachers could have helped students make the right choice, even if your management didn't. You did not! Because you were too damn greedy and too shamelessly corrupt.

Muslim students needed to know whether they were on the side of money or on the side of the truth. Our graduates have consistently chosen money over righteousness producing a deafening silence on all Muslim issues. The responsibility for this scandalous state of affairs lies solely with schools and universities in Pakistan and other Muslims nations: institutions that promote drunk concerts on campuses but hardly ever discuss anything that truly matters. The elite educational Institutions in Pakistan, without exception, are run by the new moneyed classes. These classes are in turn composed (mainly) of ruthless real estate developers or utterly ignorant former bus drivers who amassed enough wealth to invest in the "enticing" goldmine of education. Their own selfish benefit was all they had at heart, not the country's future. There was no Nelson Mandela to tell them that a nation that starts eating out of its own education is actually eating the flesh of its children. Thats what has happened: this education system has produced people with amputated spirits and sullen sordid souls. Our elite educational institutions have desensitized their students into becoming nothing but money sniffing Zombies and human versions of money generating ATM machines. Its time for the students to ask their teachers and university heads some tough questions.

The problem is not the absence of freedom of speech or freedom of peaceable assembly: for these rights are enshrined in the constitution. Even though the aforementioned do exist, the educational institutions that employ foreign educated teachers indoctrinate Muslim students with defunct theories that make them apathetic to the plight of Muslims at best or ashamed to be Muslims at worst. No wonder this education system is producing atheists in droves.

Primary and secondary schools are just as guilty. And yes before their batteries of pedantic professors lob socialist leaning allegations at me let me clarify for the record: I am a staunch believer in the principle of the invisible hand. There is absolutely no conspiracy by occult or manipulative powers here. So those who thought I was advancing a Marxist inspired class conflict view are damn out of luck.

This invisible hand of perdition does not belong to a ruling or an arcane exploitive clique. It misleads ALL CLASSES in equal measure. It is the collective consequence of the millions of wrong decisions we make on a daily basis: decisions that could be have been righted had educational institutions done their job by giving the right direction to society. But they could have done that only had they been dedicated to anything other than making money. The sorry state of education in top Pakistani universities is testament to the fact that they are peddling a form of education that the country neither needs nor benefits from. .

Students must question their universities at every stage and try to determine why they are committed to erasing the last vestiges of humanity altogether from the country. They must ask themselves too: why are American students alive to their causes, while they are fast asleep.
