And thank you for the opportunity to be part of such an inspiring program Agnes Ogallo! It’s been incredible journey for Doodle Design in co-creating the #BrightFutures program with you & IDEO.org to drive real impact in #financialinclusion and #genderequality in #Vietnam so far. Looking forward to seeing the positive changes this program is still to bring! :-) Download the Bright Futures White Paper here: 👇 https://lnkd.in/gHbxtS8U The 'Bright Futures White Paper' was co-created with Doodle Design, IDEO.org, funded by Primark and Standard Chartered . The program is empowering Vietnamese disadvantaged groups (particularly female factory workers) to gain financial literacy & confidence for their future, using a Design Thinking, Human Centered approach. The project is up & running for 8 months, resulting in a global award for runner-up, Best Adult Financial Education (Non-Profit) Award at The Money Awareness and Inclusion Awards and thousands of garment workers receiving the education program training and resources :-) Nhu Vo #designthinking #vietnam #socialimpact #financialinclusion

This article by the Center for Financial Inclusion (CFI) reveals how #DigitalPublicInfrastructure is reshaping the way financial services are designed and delivered, yet there is no universal definition for it. The article emphasises the three core layers for its success: digital ID, digital payments, and consent-based data exchange, adding that these foundational components are the backbone for creating inclusive and sustainable financial ecosystems. It explores how to enhance financial inclusion, highlighting the significance of participant-centric research and design on how countries like Singapore, India, and Brazil have implemented scalable DPI models. Extremely excited to share our latest publication exploring the transformative impact of digital data trails on #FinancialInclusion in #Egypt! I am grateful to have partnered with the Center for Financial Inclusion (CFI) and FMO - Dutch entrepreneurial development bank to bring this piece to life. Data scarcity continues to be a significant barrier, particularly for marginalized communities, as it restricts financial service providers from accurately assessing risk and tailoring solutions. We highlight how Egypt’s dynamic #fintech environment is addressing these challenges, leveraging innovative strategies to build comprehensive #consumerdata trails and expand financial access. A huge shoutout to the incredible team who dedicated almost a year to this project: Colin Rice, Alexandra Rizzi, Ayman Ismail, and Edoardo Totolo. A special thanks goes to all the CEOs and stakeholders of Egyptian financial startups and institutions who generously shared their insights to shape this research. Finally, my deep appreciation goes to Ahmed Abaza and Ismail M. Sarhank for always having my back whenever I turn to them for help, to Mostafa Zidane, whose thorough note-taking and write-ups were invaluable documentation for all interviews that were held and to Heba Sakr for the hours of brainstorming and consultation sessions. I hope these findings contribute meaningfully to a more inclusive financial future in Egypt and beyond.
