  • It was wonderful to see some of our CITGO Innovation Academy students in action today at the State of the District event hosted by the Corpus Christi Education Foundation (CCEF)! The students from the Land Robotics team at Moody High School were able to show off their hard work to attendees of this sold out event. These young leaders, along with members of the Moody Underwater Robotics team, also received special recognition for their success in competitions during the past year. We appreciate the Corpus Christi Independent School District for always showcasing and celebrating the accomplishments of their students. Congratulations to CCEF and CCISD on another successful State of the District.

  • Congratulations to our community Mission of Mercy for this significant milestone!

🎉 Celebrating 17 Years of Service! 🎉 Today marks a special milestone for Mission of Mercy as we celebrate 17 years of providing free medical, dental, vision, and mental healthcare to our community! On this day 17 years ago, we held our very first medical clinic, and since then, we’ve been blessed to serve countless patients in need. 💙 To all our supporters, volunteers, and donors, thank you for standing with us over the years. Together, we’ve built a legacy of hope and healing, and we’re excited for what the future holds!

During our 10th Anniversary Celebration and Awards Presentation, Councilmember Dan Suckley read and presented a proclamation to CITGO on behalf of Mayor Paulette Guajardo. Council members Roland Barrera, Gil Hernandez and Jim Klein also attended the event. Our thanks to the City of Corpus Christi for this recognition and to the staff at the city's Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve & Learning Center for hosting us. Congratulations again to our grant recipients!

Volunteers sorted multiple pallets of food that will be boxed and distributed to local families who need it most. We urge others to take action to combat hunger in their communities!

  • It is a big back-to-school day in Corpus Christi! As we counted down to the first day back on campus for local students and educators, our refinery helped them hit the ground running on day one by providing planners for teachers at several local schools, and donating backpacks and schools supplies to our community partner Communities in Schools of the Coastal Bend. TeamCITGO volunteers sorted those items and also served at two of the region's largest back-to-school events: Operation Safe Return hosted by the Corpus Christi Police Department and the LEAD First Back to School Health & Safety Fair. Here's to a safe and productive school year!

  • TeamCITGO had another recent opportunity to give back to our community and continue the 10th anniversary celebration of the Caring for Our Coast (CFOC) program! Volunteers served during the recent Packery Flats Summer Cleanup, an annual event hosted by the Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries Program and made possible through the CFOC initiative. Our employees and their guests were among volunteers that helped remove close to 1,500 pounds of trash and debris from the sensitive Packery Flats habitat!
