Citi Latitude, our program for the next generation of leaders, recently hosted an Investor’s Academy which focused on the fundamentals of investing, and what factors to consider in developing an asset allocation framework. The key learnings: 1. The importance of purpose - Consider putting appropriate strategic asset allocation in place from the outset and identify a clear framework to follow. 2. Compartmentalise assets for different investment objectives - Focus on building long-term portfolios. 3. The old adage is true. It’s time in the market, not timing the market - Data shows that on average, investing at the earliest possible stage and remaining invested for as long as practical, may be potentially favourable for portfolios. How will the rise of AI impact the workforce? Last week we hosted an event in Germany exploring key trends in AI and how they may impact UHNW families and their businesses. The key insights: • Unexpected industries may become lucrative: In the future, trades that require a human touch that have not been highly prized in the past, compared to cognitive output, may become very well-paid. • Strategic steps need to be taken toward a digital transformation: These include sourcing the right talent, adopting global best practice frameworks, selecting the right AI tools and investing in appropriate technologies and methodologies. • There will be a greater emphasis on upskilling: By investing in training programs that enhance human skills, organizations not only boost their competitiveness but also contribute to a more dynamic, innovative and cohesive workplace culture. • Leaders need to be critical thinkers: A key AI skill will be defining and structuring a problem, as consultants do. Leaders also need to be insatiably curious and have contextual knowledge in the age of AI. To find out more about how we can help you and to attend any upcoming events, you can reach out to our dedicated private banking team in Germany: https://on.citi/4eBgFUA

Citi Private Bank had the pleasure of hosting a breakfast during New York Climate Week with Harlin Singh Urofsky, Catherine Turullols, Rachael Garrett, Ralph Chami, Matthew Arnold and Dr Nina Seega, along with some of our clients who are actively deploying capital into sustainable finance and energy transition opportunities. The discussion centered on how investment capital can complement philanthropic efforts to scale up nature-based solutions at a faster pace. Advancements in technology and innovative investment structures are creating nature-based solutions, while also highlighting how environmental and social issues impact a company’s bottom line. The market case for supporting nature is just as compelling as philanthropy and, in terms of supporting economic growth, more productive food systems and interesting developments in biotech. Thank you to our attendees for the robust conversation and shaping the future of nature-positive investment. Find out more about our sustainable investing capabilities: https://on.citi/3XRnWIX

I am incredibly honored to be recognized as one of American Banker’s Most Powerful Women in Finance. This recognition is a testament to the journey shaped by the many inspiring colleagues, mentors, peers, and clients who have supported me. As an Asian-American female leader, I’m proud of the strides women have made in finance and the impact we continue to create. I am committed to uplifting the next generation of female and Asian leaders, encouraging them to break barriers and drive meaningful change. Progress happens when every voice is included and valued, and I’m excited to share this honor with such incredible women. Congratulations to all who were named, especially Citi CEO Jane Fraser, and my wonderful colleagues Tasnim Ghiawadwala and Maria Hackley. Together, we will continue to build a more inclusive future! #FemaleLeadership #Leadership #MostPowerfulWomenInFinance #WealthManagement #Finance
