The Electrician Emergency Support Program (E.E.S.P) is a remarkable initiative that highlights the immense care NECA Electrical Contractors in Western Pennsylvania place on their most valuable asset: their employees. For over 70 years, the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (WPA NECA) has played a vital role in supporting local communities alongside its IBEW workforce from IBEW Local 5, Local 712, and Local 56. Through EESP, NECA contractors have been able to provide financial assistance to electricians in need, mainly when traditional benefits run out or unforeseen circumstances arise. The program's impact is far-reaching, with multiple families benefiting from the generosity of NECA contractors. Whether it’s a long-term disability or a personal injury that threatens to derail an electrician's career, EESP provides a safety net. This support helps individuals through tough times and strengthens the entire industry by retaining experienced electricians within the workforce. Through this collective effort, WPA NECA contractors are demonstrating their commitment to their workforce's well-being and the electrical industry's long-term strength. #NECA #IBEW Watch here: https://lnkd.in/gUsniGSF
