On September 20, 2024, the U.S. District Court for Oregon rejected new challenges to the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) in Firestone v. Yellen. Plaintiffs sought a preliminary injunction, arguing that the CTA's reporting requirements exceeded constitutional limits. However, the court sided with the government, finding that the plaintiffs didn’t demonstrate a likelihood of success or irreparable harm.
