“Know your value proposition.” That was a key takeaway at an event the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Russell Reynolds Associates recently hosted for women leaders in Washington across the association, business, and nonprofit sectors. The panelists encouraged women to think big and then execute those big ideas while sharing real-world examples of times they took risks that led to new chapters in their careers. Honored to have participated in the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) Crystal Ball TSCA 2025 Panel in New Orleans last week! A huge thank you to my fellow panelists, Karyn Schmidt from the American Chemistry Council, Danielle Jones from the API - American Petroleum Institute, Domenic DeCaria from the The Vinyl Institute, and Tyler Jenkins from BASF for such an insightful discussion. And a big shout out to Jim Cooper for the invitation, moderation and all the support. We covered some critical topics affecting our industry, from the prioritization of new chemicals under TSCA to the importance of engaging the supply chain and educating Hill staff. The conversation highlighted the crucial role of collaboration as we navigate the path forward, addressing both regulatory impacts and the evolving changes in the supply chain. Yalchin Rafiyev for a roundtable discussion on the sidelines of the 2024 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) & the World Bank Group (WBG) in DC. H.E.
