Currently, she leads the Healthcare Digital Strategy team within Compass Digital (a division of Compass Group, NA). Lauren’s team is responsible for strategy development & execution, digital adoption and growth for retail, patient and resident dining solutions, and innovation strategy and partnerships. She also co-leads the Compass Digital internship program and partnership with Year Up Charlotte. Prior to her role at Compass Digital, Lauren has 15+ years of financial services and technology experience across numerous roles in product management and strategy, including roles at Wells Fargo, Red Ventures, and Barings. In these various roles, Lauren led teams in product management, channel management, and the development and execution of digital strategy online banking applications and financial products. Lauren is a graduate of Georgetown University and the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. In her spare time, she enjoys driving her kids to and from activities, date nights with her husband, traveling with her family, and squeezing in exercise, reading, and checking out local coffee shops. #CompassDigital, in partnership with Digital Page, will be kicking off fun events for WEST MECKLENBURG HIGH SCHOOL students for the upcoming Prodigy Program! The Prodigy Program is an 8-week program with a capstone for a total of 9 weeks. This initiative is designed to provide hands-on experience in various fields of technology, with a special focus on project-based learning, team collaboration, and practical skill development for high school students at #WestMeck in Charlotte, NC. The program will be returning in the Spring of 2025, but we are kicking off a few events over the next couple of months! Healthcare Digital continues to work closely with our partners to advance our collective visions of digital innovation in the healthcare setting. A key part of this initiative is empowering patients and their caregivers with tools to order their meals via application. A recent case study at Arkansas Children's Northwest showed that a focused, leadership-driven campaign educating staff about MyMeal increased the application use among the location's patients and caregivers by 69%. These are two of the 184 projects selected from 540 entries representing over 50 counties. The UX Design Awards is the global competition for excellent experiences organized by the International Design Center Berlin (IDZ). It has been a platform for celebrating and recognizing outstanding user experiences since 2015. The list of former winners reads like a who-is-who of the industry, showcasing the high standards and innovation that the competition represents. Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, marks the date in 1865 when Union General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, Texas, and proclaimed freedom for enslaved African Americans. Juneteenth stands as a symbol of freedom, culture, and community.
