My name is Lily, as a professional photographer and a multi faceted artist, I will be participating in the 2024 Lafayette Art & Wine, sharing my Alcohol Ink artwork. I believe everyone is creative, but it doesn't always manifest unless we are inspired. When I see something beautiful, I feel inspired, and this new medium using alcohol instead of water, moves the colored inks in a way that is very fluid. When I sit down to create, I become immersed and lose track of time! In my first career, after receiving my BFA from California College of Arts, I was a couture bridal gown designer for twelve years. I've been specializing in distinctive business headshots for the last 14 years, but in my spare time, I'm also pursuing hobbies that allow me to express creativity. Having so much fun at my work and hobby, I don't feel like I've worked a day in my life.
