  • 💡 #ThrowbackThursday: Non-Physical Risk Factors and #MSDPrevention! At the #MSDSolutionsLab, we believe in a holistic approach to workplace safety. The Lab published a report, Accounting for Non-Physical Risk Factors in MSD Prevention, that sheds light on the often-overlooked non-physical factors that play a crucial role in preventing MSDs. While physical factors like posture, force, and repetitive motion are commonly considered when developing MSD prevention initiatives, it’s also important to consider the following: 🌟 Organizational Factors: influenced or controlled by the employer and related to the way work is designed, organized and managed 🌟Psychosocial Factors: concerning interactions between and among work environment, job content, organization conditions, and workers’ capacities, needs and culture 🌟Behavioral Factors: actions that a person engages in that can be modified or impacted by the workplace Let’s commit to creating safe and healthy workplaces by considering all aspects of MSD prevention. 💪 📖 Read the full report and join us in making a difference: https://lnkd.in/gXhYUwHm
