Congrats to our portfolio company, Crusoe, on a landmark infrastructure announcement! We’re excited to share that Crusoe is building a specially designed AI data center at the Lancium Clean Campus in Abilene, Texas. At scale, the data center will run inference and training workloads on cutting-edge hardware with 1.2 GW of power capacity. Incredibly hard work is underway to bring the site online over the coming months!

The partnership between New York Life Insurance Company and Scribe is a great example of New York Life Ventures’ model in action.   We were first introduced to Jennifer Smith at Scribe by Amplify Partners in early 2021. From there, we tested the product with a couple of teams here at New York Life, and it was clear that this tool could make a big impact. Our partnership with Scribe has since grown into an enterprise-wide implementation, saving time and increasing the rate of learning across the company. We’ve also invested in Scribe’s latest round of funding, a $25M Series B led by Redpoint Ventures.   From customer to investor, we’re proud of the impact this tool continues to make here at New York Life and look forward to the journey ahead!
