It'll be an action-packed 12 weeks full of ship-handling exercises coupled with classroom instruction in leadership, officer bearing, NOAA mission and history, ship handling, basic seamanship, firefighting, navigation, and first aid. A special thank you to NOAA Commissioned Officer Corps and NOAA Marine and Aviation Operations Director, Rear Adm. (select) Chad Cary and NOAA Marine Operations Center-Pacific Commanding Officer, Capt. Keith Golden for their participation in the ceremony. Thank you to the family and friends who joined us in celebrating. We wish the best to Cmdr. Perry and Capt. Little in their new assignments!
