Cod is King! The Norwegian Seafood Council - United States has paired up with registered dietitian Liz Weiss to spread the word this fall!

We are excited to partner with founding member of Seafood from Norway Scholars, Steven Wong of AQUABEST SEAFOOD LLC. Beloved by NYC’s top chefs as a purveyor of top quality products, Steven educates his audience on everything he has learned about Norwegian seafood through his travels and extensive experience keeping many of New Yorks best restaurants supplied with the best seafood.  

Rounding out this stellar group is Chef Jiho Kim, a Michelin-starred chef whose Korean Chinese restaurant, Joomak Banjum, opened in 2021 after a series of popular sold-out pandemic popups. His culinary and seafood knowledge is vast, and he always brings a unique point of view to his menus. Be sure to stay tuned for the limited time dish Chef Jiho will offer at DDO Bar featuring Seafood from Norway. 

When the New York Times recently listed the 100 best restaurants in New York in 2024 Victoria Blamey and restaurant Blanca was listed as #2! We are very proud to work with this remarkable chef ❤️ to help us communicate the qualitu and benefits of seafood from Norway!

We couldn’t be more honored to partner with this renowned Chef. Victoria Blamey is a highly respected fish and seafood expert with an impressive culinary background who has long worked with seafood products from Norway. Victoria is executive chef at the recently opened Blanca, which is a New York Times favorite. Look out for her Seafood from Norway recipe on Food 52 and a limited-time Norwegian seafood dish on her menu.

Seafood from Norway founding class member Chef Greg Baxtrom is chef and owner of the much beloved group of restaurants that includes Olmsted, Five Acres, and more. Chef Greg has become an expert in the quality and versatility that comes with Seafood from Norway.
