🚀 What an incredible week at ICT Week 2024 in Tashkent, the largest annual tech event in Uzbekistan! 🇺🇿 As part of this exciting week, Plug and Play Central Asia, alongside our founding partners IT PARK Uzbekistan and The Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, hosted the Startup & Venture Summit. The event brought together investors, startups, and ecosystem builders to explore the immense opportunities within Uzbekistan’s thriving ICT sector. Highlights included a dynamic Tech Alley showcasing innovative solutions from emerging startups, inspiring unicorn success stories, engaging panel discussions, and a thrilling startup pitch competition. Our Plug and Play Tech Center delegation, led by Sascha Karimpour, Partner at Plug and Play and co-founder of Plug and Play Uzbekistan, was thrilled to take part. Special shoutout to Omeed M. , Managing Partner EMEA, Plug and Play, who joined the panel on international opportunities for Central Eurasian startups, and Alfredo Gomez Soria, Sr. Corporate Innovation Manager & Government Relations, who served on the pitch competition jury.  🏆Congratulations to pitch winners Sug'urta Bozor, Jett, and Courstore on taking home cash prizes! This week, Tashkent hosted the Global Business Services Forum 2024, organized by our founding partners— The Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and IT PARK Uzbekistan. The event brought together over 200 industry leaders from more than 35 countries to showcase Uzbekistan’s investment climate and achievements in enhancing its outsourcing potential to international companies.
