  • Meet Steve Teber! He is a 70 year old boat captain and owner of Boat Tours of Alaska, who loved sharing the beauty of the Alaskan waters with everyone on his tours. Despite the physical demands, he found it incredibly rewarding to see the excitement on everyone's faces as he guided them through the icy waters. Last August, Steve's health declined significantly, leaving him without mobility or strength. He struggled to raise his arms or move his legs and needed assistance with feeding himself. For the past eight months, Steve has been in our facility, receiving intensive PT/OT to address his deficits. Thanks to the dedicated care team at Renton Health and Rehabilitation and the incredible therapy he's received, Steve is now walking with an assistive device, dressing himself, and using the bathroom with minimal assistance. He continues working with therapy to gain more independence and is optimistic about returning to his family. Steve's journey is a testament to the power of rehabilitation. We're incredibly proud to share that his progress has been remarkable, and his success story inspires us all! 💙 #RehabilitationSuccess #RentonRehab #Teamwork
