Yeigo means “keep going” in the Navajo language. For the team of Akilah Martinez, Faith 'Aya' U., Sade Korbieh, Lauren Cason, and Sam Jones, this word served as the spark of inspiration behind their mobility Lens. Yeigo was awarded the Gold and Founders Lab prizes during Reality Hack, Inc. (co-organizers of MIT Reality Hack). The Lens triangulates between Spectacles, a phone and the floor to help users set their walker to a correct height and follow proper posture, encouraging them as they walk. Watch to see their Lens in action.

My team YEIGO, just WON the MIT Reality Hack GOLD PRIZE (1st place) and the MIT Reality Hack Founder’s Lab Grand Prize at the 2025 MIT Reality Hack! 🏆🏆 Yeigo means “keep going” in the Navajo language. We’ve created an immersive AR mobility aid, with Snap AR Spectacles, which triangulates between Spectacles, a phone and the floor. This helps users set the correct height a walker should be from the ground, which prevents further strain. YEIGO also detects when users begin to slouch, which then spawns audio and visual encouragement to correct posture throughout the experience. Our first iteration of YEIGO includes an English and Diné Bizaad/Navajo language version. By including the Navajo language, Yeigo is an emerging catalyst for inclusive technological medical assistance to help Indigenous communities leapfrog to a just medical ecosystem. With over 450 talented hackers this year, I’d like to congratulate all of us for FINISHING THE HACK!🎊 Yeigo, keep going! Reality Hack, Inc. (co-organizers of MIT Reality Hack)

For Chinese New Year, I put together a quick #Spectacles Lens experimenting with the world mesh. The world mesh generation is impressively reliable, even in dim lighting/ odd environments like plants, making it exciting to explore further. Seeing virtual objects seamlessly interact with real-world elements really showcases how playful and immersive these experiences can be! Snap AR ANRK
