At our first-ever Snap Street in East London, advertisers, creators, and brands had the chance to participate in two awesome days of programming including pitch competitions, panels with industry experts, and live demonstrations of our new fifth generation Spectacles! Over the weekend, the event opened up to the public, allowing shoppers to experience a look at the “high-street of the future” featuring AR and IRL experiences by our amazing partner brands Depop, Boots UK, and Cosmopolitan! We’re excited to partner with Adobe Experience Cloud on Adobe’s new GenStudio for Performance Marketing product! Launching soon for Snapchat ads, the partnership will enable brands to automatically send ad creative, including copy and images, directly to Snap in predefined formats. As campaigns run in market, ad performance data will be sent back to Adobe GenStudio and these insights will allow brands to adjust their ad content on a daily or even hourly basis, as trends and market conditions change. Today we announced two new advertising placements that we’re testing with our launch partners: Sponsored Snaps with The Walt Disney Company, and Promoted Places with McDonald's and Taco Bell. 👻 Sponsored Snaps: Enable businesses to engage customers through visual messaging by delivering a full-screen vertical video Snap directly to Snapchatters. Snapchatters opt-in to opening the Snap and can reply by sending a message directly to the advertiser or using the call-to-action to open a link. 📍 Promoted Places: Highlight sponsored places of interest on the Snap Map, helping our community discover places that they want to visit.
