Read our update on the project progress at Wilde Aparthotels, Amsterdam-Noord! #RealEstate #Amsterdam #Development #Investment #WildeAparthotels
The Staycity Group is a collection of aparthotels established in 2004 by Tom Walsh, with its headquarters located in Dublin. Presently, we manage 33 sites, offering approximately 7,000 keys, and an additional 10 aparthotels are in the pipeline, set to open soon. Our vision is to double our presence in Europe by 2027, replicating the growth achieved between 2019 and 2023, where we expanded from 17 to 33 sites. Currently, we have a footprint in key cities in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, and Italy, with upcoming launches in Amsterdam, Porto, Munich and Lisbon. Our portfolio encompasses two brands: • Staycity Aparthotels - our design-led brand for smart travellers in the heart of more competitively-priced cities, or city centre fringes in larger cities. • Wilde - the aparthotel embodiment of one of Ireland’s most famous wits, Oscar Wilde. This is our premium brand for those who like to indulge in artfully curated stays in the beating heart of Europe’s most attractive cities. Criteria: Our search focuses on existing or under-development buildings, including hotels, aparthotels, or convertible spaces like offices or parking structures. We seek locations in city centres, near major train and metro/tramway stations, or positioned between the city centre and the train station. The desired area ranges from 3,000 m2 to over 10,000 m2. We are open to both long-term lease transactions and acquisitions. Geography: Our primary targets are European gateway cities. Funding partners: Throughout our journey, we've collaborated with significant institutional investors, securing almost €2 billion in off-balance-sheet capital. Additionally, we engage with prominent private investors and family offices for specific deals. For a comprehensive overview, please reach out to us at development@staycity.com, and we'll be pleased to share our corporate presentation.

Happy birthday to us!* *20 years young Today marks 20 years since Staycity Group welcomed our very first guests! As we celebrate how we’ve grown over the past two decades, we’re looking back on some of our key milestones: 🌟2004: it all began with one apartment in Dublin’s Temple Bar 🌟2007: things got international with the expansion outside of Dublin to the UK, which would later be followed by new openings in France, Germany, and Italy 🌟2015: winner of the Industry Breakthrough Award at the ASAP Awards 🌟2018: the launch of our new premium brand, Wilde 🌟2023: the start of a 5-year sponsorship deal as Dublin GAA’s primary sponsor Headquartered in Dublin, Staycity was founded in 2004 by CEO Tom Walsh and his brother Ger, in a single apartment in Dublin’s famous Temple Bar. Tom is a big U2 fan - the band’s song, “Desire” was recorded in a studio in what is now the living-room of the very apartment in Temple Bar where the Staycity story began. As of 2024, guests have been able to book over 5,300 aparthotel rooms in 32 aparthotels in 15 vibrant cities in the United Kingdom, France, Ireland, Italy & Germany. We have over 1,200 fantastic employees across the continent – in fact, we’re Europe’s fastest-growing aparthotel provider. As we reflect on our 20 year journey we’re very proud of how we’ve grown, and of all the dedicated, talented people that helped us get here. Looking forward, we’re beyond excited by the prospect of opening our doors in more of Europe’s great countries and cities with aparthotels coming soon to Amsterdam, Lisbon, Porto and many more! #StaycityAparthotels #WildeAparthotels #20YearJourney
🌟March 2025 target open date for our Wilde Aparthotels, Cambridge, Park Street development 🌟 Marick Real Estate has given us the 12-month completion notice of the build of the 227-room aparthotel in the centre of Cambridge. With its sophistication and style, Cambridge perfectly epitomises the Wilde brand. The aparthotel will be located just a few minutes walk from the picturesque University and the River Cam. This will be the third Wilde opening over a period of the next 12 months, in addition to Wilde Aparthotels, Amsterdam Noord, and Wilde Aparthotels, London, Middlesex Street. This new building will be an eco-haven, complete with insect towers, a green roof and even a bee hotel, with plans to open up the outdoor space into a public courtyard with a café, seating area and landscaping, including a green wall. We’re delighted to say the precise species list will be developed with a consultant ecologist to ensure we are doing all we can to provide the opportunity to increase the bio-diversity of the site, as well as including plant species to attract bees. The build will include a carpark with 225 public parking spaces, and will offer electric vehicle charging with 26 live charging points when it reopens. There will also be 270 covered spaces for bicycles, including provision for cargo bikes on the ground floor. We are delighted to be working with our main contractor on this project Gilbert-Ash, as well as Marick Real Estate Ltd and Cambridge Investment Partnership. Cllr Lewis Herbert, leader of Cambridge City Council, says the development will “generate a receipt of at least £10 million which the council intends to use in a future housing and affordable housing investment.” #WildeAparthotels #Cambridge #Development #Construction
