The Stevens Institute for Artificial Intelligence (SIAI) at Stevens Institute of Technology is an interdisciplinary, tech-driven collaboration of engineering, business, systems and design experts working toward solving pressing global problems in industry and the world. Vision The SIAI envisions the exploration of opportunities to advance AI and machine learning to serve humanity and to improve disciplines such as healthcare, business operations, the workplace and education. Experience and Expertise Cross-disciplinary collaboration among faculty and research experts from Stevens’ Schaefer School of Engineering and Science, School of Business, School of Systems and Enterprises and College of Arts and Letters gives SIAI a forward-thinking, holistic approach to exploring complex problems and creative new solutions that impact society while advancing the engineering and science of artificial intelligence and machine learning. SIAI faculty and students work on the intersection of AI and nine disciplines: Art and Music, Cognitive Networking and Computing, Cybersecurity, Environment and Energy, Fintech, Foundations of AI and ML, Healthcare and Biomed, Robotics, Perception and Human Machine Interaction and Societal Impact

Today at Propelify 2023, Stevens alum Justin Trugman '20 M. Eng. '21 performed a demo to fellow innovators and entrepreneurs about Software Testing AI — a platform that enables developers to have confidence in their code through the power of artificial intelligence. LaunchPad@Stevens was present as well. This is a program that provides Stevens students with the opportunity to work with real-world entrepreneurs to build new technology-based businesses. Stevens Institute for Artificial Intelligence Director Professor Brendan Englot was on hand with a live robot demo, as was Stevens' own second-place-winning Amazon SocialBot Challenge team led by faculty advisor Jia Xu.
