The StoVentec Rainscreen Systems team offers solution expertise at every stage. Designing and constructing a new #building always presents the project team with new questions and challenges. StoVentec Glass is available in many sizes and different surface colors and finishes, offering great aesthetic potential for façade designs on new-build or refurbished #buildings. Screen printing offers additional #design possibilities: patterns, illustrations, photographs or corporate logos. These can be applied to the rear side of the glass panels, expanding the scope for individuality. Choose single-color, multi-color or metallics for your individual design, with a gloss, reflective or non-reflective finish.

Discerning #architects and specifiers seek products that have versatile finishes for design flexibility – everything from coarse textures to ultra-smooth surfaces, in a variety of colors. Rainscreen #cladding systems that employ glass for the outer layer create even more possibilities for architects to put their signature on the exterior wall of a structure. Opaque glass rainscreen systems use pigments that are fused into the back of the glass, providing permanently colored glass panels that resist wearing, scratching, fading or water damage.

Prescott Valley Library’s mission is to inspire its community to learn and grow together. The StoVentec Rainscreen Systems team is truly inspired by the building’s stunning design, which is influenced by a regional lava dome. Under a recent renovation, LAST Architects utilized StoVentec Render – along with StoCreativ Lux and StoQuik Silver Drainscreen expertly installed by Call Construction – for the exterior. Glass sets a precedent. Glass is not only a remarkable material in terms of appearance, but also due to its design flexibility. Panels can be supplied in square, rectangular, trapezium and parallelogram shapes, and #glass panels can be cut to incorporate lighting or control panels. Once upon a time, there was a #brick apartment building in #NYC. The tenants in the building were extremely stressed and disappointed. In the summers, their apartments were unbearably hot; in the winters, they were comfortable, but their utility bills were through the roof. Every time it rained, they'd get water in their units. One tenant lost irreplaceable artwork to water damage. Another had a child whose favorite bear had to be disposed of due to mold. All of the tenants dealt with constant colds and asthma, regardless of time of year. It was discovered that the brick had been cracking under stress over the years. With every crack, more moisture made it into the wall. That damp would freeze in the winter, or otherwise weaken the structure, making the cracks bigger, and allowing even more moisture to intrude. There were unsafe levels of mold growth in the void space, which had been making all the tenants sick. This isn't just one building. This is most of the existing building stock in the city. And we have to remember that as we slowly but surely retrofit these buildings, that there are real people living in them, and they're counting on us to improve their living conditions. #whatsyourwhy #energyefficiency #safebuildings
