About us
This group came together for a conference to raise funds for MSF. We came up with the idea of creating a book with contributions from as many speakers as possible. We had a volunteer team that project managed, designed and edited the book. All proceeds (less platform fees) will be donated to Médecins Sans Frontières to help those around the world most in need. We will provide extra updates as the fundraising continues! Thank you for your support and thank you to the following people for making this endeavor possible. As you will see it is an international group! I am going to the Coaching Ethics Forum conference in December and if you are a hashtag #coach, I recommend that you do too! As we use more tools including AI in our coaching practices, I believe that ethics is going to be even more of a top priority in the coming years. We owe it to ourselves and our wonderful clients to be considering ethics in all that we do and say. This is the third year that this amazing event has been created by Wendy-Ann Smith. This year I am privileged to be a session host and also a volunteer. So over the next few months you are going to see me post a LOT about coaching ethics. The three day conference has some amazing speakers and topics. And the event includes discussion sessions in a multitude of different languages! So far I have spotted groups in: #Croatian, #English, #French, #German, #Greek, #Japanese, #Persian, #Portuguese (count me in!), #Spanish, #Turkish & #Ukrainian. This reflects the international interest and importance of #ethics in a profession such as #coaching! Some of the speakers that stood out to me immediately are: Prof. David Clutterbuck - I am looking forward to a team coaching training with Professor Clutterbuck in Q4! Haesun Moon - the author of Coaching a-z: The extraordinary use of ordinary words (who has kindly given me permission to use the book as a foundation of an online 30-day practice) and Erik de Haan an extraordinary influencer in the field of coaching. And these are just THREE! I don't know of any other forum like this and I cannot wait to be part of it. It will run from 8am - 10:30pm CET each day December 5th - 7th. I will be attending live from 8am - 4pm EST each day (a 2am start is a bit much for me!) So let's arrange to meet up there virtually and explore all things coaching ethics! #coaching #mentoring #CEF2024

We are a group of #projectmanagers who came together earlier this year to create an online conference of 24 hours that explored #ethics in #projectmanagement AND raised funds for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) which works in some of the most difficult environments in the world to provide medical care to those who most need it. The work is dangerous, uncomfortable and means being in some of the most challenging places on earth! Please help us to help them.
