While we can broadly categorize colors into two groups, you know warm colors and cool colors, they can also have multiple associations. Usually, there’s a literal association and a more abstract one. Blue is a great color. Let's take blue for example. 🔵 Blue is often seen as a trustworthy, intelligent color. But as we all know, it's also strongly associated with water. So in this case one association is more abstract, alluding to a personal quality while the other is a literal color association. Let's dive into a #design breakdown of all colors with Kathryn Grayson Nanz in this snippet from her "Foundations of Design for Developers" book, which you can also grab as a free eBook in the comments below! 👇

UI for JS & .NET to make your dev life easier. Added bonus: testing, debugging, reporting solutions & more. Let's chat!
About us
What do we do? Where do we begin? We build feature-rich, make-your-dev-life-easier UI components for your favorite .NET & JavaScript frameworks. Components for web, mobile, desktop, cross-platform - run your app wherever you want to. Who are we to stop you, after all. We are here simply to make it easier for you to build good, accessible, consistent-looking functional apps. Plus we would hate you spending your time on building grids and charts, instead of implementing awesome app logic and creating a robust final product with your code. So grab our components and focus your time on functionality. But can you really build good apps without testing them first? We think not really. Unless you're a complete genius, but we know we aren't. So we rely on building good testing practices and automated tests along the way. And we can help you do that, too. With Telerik Test Studio - our test automation platform for web, desktop, and responsive web apps. It sports one of the most intuitive visual test recording interfaces on the market and the industry's first patent-pending element find logic. We're super proud of it. We also believe in a holistic debugging & troubleshooting approach that is radically straightforward and intuitive. This is where the Fiddler family of products comes in. Fiddler is committed to delivering you successful outcomes and solving your pain points without sacrifice. And if you need an embedded .NET Reporting solution, we've got your back, too. Telerik Reporting lets you create, view, and export rich, beautiful, interactive, and reusable reports - everything a lightweight, feature-complete and embedded reporting tool should do. We do some other things, too, but you'll have to go check it all about at www.telerik.com. And if a question pops up, leave us a comment or reach out.

One of the many conferences we had the opportunity to attend these past weeks (shoutout to DEVintersection and Swetugg 💜 ) was UX Y'all Conference! We got to show ThemeBuilder and the UI Accelerator, and talk about UX, Design and the designer-developer handoff. We're looking forward to more opportunities to explore that relationship and hear people's thoughts! What is your design-dev process like?

On a day-to-day basis, everything is a choice and a decision. 👀 Which framework to use, whether to use web services or APIs, master .NET MAUI Shell or learn how to test Blazor components with bUnit; use JSX instead of Template Syntax, learn to build a design system or take a crash course on wireframing. The good thing is that there's a resource for everything so you can, technically, learn it all and still have time for tea. Let's check if the featured resources in this issue of the TechRel Hub Bi-Weekly might help your web, desktop or mobile development game! 👇
