He was initially trained as a pure mathematician; however, he now finds himself traversing the realm of applied mathematics. Pablo Vidal is pursuing Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin He graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley where he researched the development of smart polymer scaffolds for effective wound treatments. He is focused on creating innovative materials for epidermal electronics that monitor physiological data. He is developing a robot capable of conformally depositing these materials directly onto the skin, forming e-tattoos that adapt to diverse anatomies, thereby expanding access to people worldwide. His passion is to democratize healthcare by providing tools that enable real-time diagnosis and treatment, ensuring broader and more immediate access to medical care. #QuadFellow #QuadbyIIE #QuadFellowship

She is excited to collaborate with global scientists and leverage science to positively impact women’s health worldwide. Gabriel Reyes is pursuing a Ph.D. in Developmental and Psychological Sciences at Stanford University as a Knight-Hennessy Scholar and Quad Fellow.
