🌟 Wow, what an incredible experience at last week's Fintech Summit in Madison, WI! 🌟 We brought together over 300 attendees, including #creditunion leaders, #fintech innovators, investors and industry partners to explore the dynamic collaboration between credit unions and fintech. From inspiring thought leadership sessions to the 29 exciting fintech demos and networking opportunities, it was 48 hours filled with learning, connection, and growth. 🚀 Credit Unions + Fintech: We celebrated the power of partnership, building an ecosystem where startups, credit unions, and investors come together to innovate for a more inclusive and financially secure future. 💡 Thought Leadership & Demo Showcases: We had over 30 fintechs in attendance, showcasing cutting-edge solutions that are reshaping the financial services industry. The insights shared during our sessions—from embedded finance to financial inclusion and new member growth—sparked valuable conversations and ideas. 🏌️♀️ Networking Highlights: From making connections at our sessions to enjoying swings (some good... and some not so great) and laughs at Pinseekers, the summit was the perfect blend of professional growth and community spirit. Today, 30% of people in the U.S. participate in some form of public assistance program. While many more are eligible, they do not enroll due to the difficulty of navigating complicated administrative barriers, resulting in missed opportunities for institutions to support the financial health of their customers. 🌟 Starlight's mission is to enhance the financial health of American households by enabling financial institutions to support their members through better access to government benefits and financial assistance. A partnership between Starlight and the $229 million Binghamton, N.Y. based GHS Federal Credit Union has shown that by using Starlight’s embedded platform technology, members can access government benefits in a variety of key categories, including cost of food, healthcare, childcare, utilities, tax credits and unemployment insurance.
