Under his belt, he has published 10 papers and has seven more in submission and development. His impressive work has been featured in flagship journals such as the Journal of Global Optimization and the European Journal of Operational Research. Zhiming's contributions to the field go beyond publications. He has presented his research at seven international conferences, including the IEEE Power & Energy Society General Meeting and the INFORMS Annual Meeting. Allow us to introduce Mr. Md Habibor Rahman as one of the 2024 Outstanding Systems and Industrial Engineering Graduate Students, nominated by Mohammed Shafae. Mohammed was impressed with his background, technical expertise, and outstanding work during his MS and BS degrees, prompting him to offer a Graduate Research Assistantship. Habibor has had incredible growth as a professional academic and has impressed many with his professional work ethic and gracious personality. Habibor was an incredibly active student who published six journals, and three conference papers, and has received many awards and honors. Mohammed notes, "Shortly after I started advising Habibor, I saw him as a colleague more than a PhD student as he always aspires to gain experience in all aspects of faculty responsibilities."
