🌍✨ Thrilled to be back at #NewYorkClimateWeek for the third year in a row, representing BFA Global and the CIFAR Alliance! This year, we are excited to be hosting an event and moderating a panel on Gender-Responsive Innovations for Climate Financial Resilience tomorrow at 9 a.m. 🌱💡
Every year, I walk away inspired by the incredible efforts driving us toward a more sustainable and inclusive world. Tomorrow's event, supported by the MetLife Foundation, and Charlie Pettigrew, and hosted by the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth, with Ali Schmidt-Fellner and Carolina Zuluaga, will bring together some of the brightest minds at the forefront of climate resilience and gender equity. I’m truly honored to be part of this journey—sharing insights from our recent survey on how FSPs cope and adapt to climate change with a gender focus and engaging with visionary leaders shaping a more sustainable and equitable future. 🌿💪
🔥 Special thanks to the fantastic panelists who will be sharing their expertise:
✨ Kerry Dittmeier: Leading the Climate Gender Equity Fund (CGEF) through USAID, mobilizing $2.5B for gender-responsive climate investments by 2030.
✨ Peter Zetterli: Highlighting CGAP’s work on how financial services can support climate resilience, particularly for vulnerable women.
✨ Jorge Gastelumendi: Driving pioneering efforts like heat insurance for women in India through the Atlantic Council.
✨ Christina (CJ) Juhasz: From Women’s World Banking, sharing innovative gender-climate finance projects.
✨ Anant Jayant Natu: Co-leading impactful research on gender and climate at MicroSave Consulting.
