Our very own Tim Shea was recently recognized with a Yale SOM Staff Excellence Award for Community Spirit. 🎉 Tim's always the first to acknowledge and celebrate his colleagues, making everyone feel valued and appreciated. How does he do it? Instead of Hallmark cards, he opts to create something thoughtful, whether it's a personalized video or his infamous banana bread. Why make the extra effort? "The way I look at it is, you likely spend more time with your colleagues than with your family and friends, so you might as well enjoy it as much as you can." Thank you, Tim, for strengthening our community through your creativity and kindness. We're lucky to have you!

We were thrilled to welcome the 2024 cohort of the Global CEO Africa program to campus last week. The group visited the Yale School of Management as part of a three-module program, the first two of which took place at Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University in Nigeria and Strathmore Business School (SBS) in Kenya. A memorable week of learning and connection unfolded, highlighted by a classroom visit from Dean Kerwin K. Charles as well as an engaging symposium in which four African CEO panelists engaged in conversation with Yale graduate and undergraduate students to explore the challenges and growth opportunities shaping Africa's business landscape. Throughout the program, these leaders gained valuable insights, tools, and frameworks in the classroom while simultaneously building a strong network of peers from across the continent—all equipping them to broaden their global impact. Join us in congratulating them on achieving this milestone! 🎉
