About this mod

Enhances bloom, saturation, levels, and light. Geforce game filter settings in the description as well.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Made for the early stages of Early Access
Should function technically fine but may not be suited for new lighting or all areas of the game. Keeping it up in case anybody liked it and wants to keep using it.

Description:

I tried to make it work for every area and scene however there are artifacts in very bright areas and low contrast scenes.  The game's lighting itself is a bit wonky in certain scenes and light sources move around a lot very quickly, but that's to be expected in early access.  I might tweak it as we get more updates Edit: I don't have any plans to update this as of now, but I'll keep it posted for anybody still using it.  I have my settings on High to Ultra in the screenshots.

Geforce Game Filter Settings:
  • Color
    Vibrance: 32%
  • Brightness/Contrast:
    Contrast: 14%Highlights: 20%Shadows: -30%
  • Details:
    Clarity: 51%HDR: -38%Bloom: 21%

Installation:
  • Get Reshade if you don't already have it.
  • Copy your vanilla bin folder and set it aside just in case.  That way if something goes wrong or you don't like it, you can simply put it back instead of going through another install.
  • Launch Reshade, and go to Click Here to Select a Game and Manage its Reshade Installation.
  • Select either Baldur's Gate 3 (bg3.exe) if you use Vulkan, or Baldur's Gate 3 (bg3_dx11.exe) if you use Dx11 from the menu that comes up.  If you don't know which one to pick, you are probably using Vulkan.  If either option doesn't show up, go to Browse... and select the vulkan or dx11 .exe files in the bin.  If you have the game on Steam it will be here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\bin
  • When it asks you which API, choose either Vulkan or dx11 depending on which .exe you chose
  • Select the shaders you want.
  • When it's done, launch your game and you should notice immediately that there is a prompt on the top of the screen to teach you how to use reshade.  I recommend going through it but you don't have to.  But check that it runs correctly on startup.  Close the game.
  • Unzip my file and drop it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\bin
  • Start up the game again.  Click your keyboard Home key, and under the Home tab that comes up, go to the dropdown menu at the top.  Select Lotus Reshade.ini.  Press the Home key again to close the menu.
  • Enjoy the game!
If you don't like anything I've done, just don't use it!  If something doesn't work though, please lmk.  I've never shared reshade presets before.  Feel free to share it anywhere, just link back to this page.
