Croup Manor in a 'Fort' configuration. Easily defensible. No DLC required. Only Transfer Settlements and one mod required. Now updated with Transfer Settlements V1.48.

Tired of using so much of your settlement budget building a defensible perimeter? I did.
So now I use my settlements as my perimeter. I know of the mod to expand the settlement budget, but I saw it as a challenge to make all of my 'Forts' keep within the game budget using only what I actually scrounged.

This 'Fort' has -

  • 20 Beds
  • 24 Water (Better Generators )
  • 20+ Food
  • Defense 182
  • 4 Stores 
  • All crafting workbenches

Additional Fort Croup Notes

Croup Manor is a major pain to build a settlement on. That useless eyesore of a building needs to be scrapped. I was going to do that on a future blueprint when I ripped the place down to it's foundations. But I thought I would make a 'Fort' for people that do not wish to go through the effort.

After spending many hours building this I decided I liked it so much that I would forgo scraping the entire thing. :)

*** IMPORTANT *** The statue base and ramps leading up to it in the courtyard will need to be scrapped as well.

The main lines of attack will always come from the west near the road or the south towards Nahant Chapel. I would not bother with many turrets on the northern side.

If you decide to reject the BOS as an ally these defenses trash vertibirds in seconds... ;)

Installation

The folder needs to be extracted and placed in your 'Transfer Settlements' folder. 7zip
/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Fallout4/Data/F4SE/plugins/TransferSettlements/blueprints/
