Latest version is always recommended. You don't have to use the standalone version, that's just what I prefer but it will work fine with the installer version too.

For those of you who use WryeBash with Fallout4VR, you'll know that it highlights much of the base content and DLC in red and complains in logs that it can't find localisation strings for that content. It therefore ignores it, which doesn't seem to impact the game much (AFAIK), but it disables all the DLC plugins every time you make a bash patch, which is just annoying as you have to manually re-enable them after.
u/BeatsLikeWenckebach found that the strings it looks for do exist, but for some reason Bethesda thought it was a great idea to shorten 'English' in the file names to 'en' for no discernable reason other than to fuck with us. BeatsLikeWenckebach told me where to find these strings and I have packaged up the renamed variants in a mod so you too can appease wrye bash and silence its wrath.
No plugins to worry about, this just adds strings to data/strings.
Versions above 1.0 have some additional strings in them for other popular mods that wrye bash gets mad about.
I included a string for AutoEat.esm in v1.1 as that's pretty popular for survival. I don't think it matters if you don't have it, but I've included a version without that just to be safe. If there are any other mod ESMs you find wrye bash is getting angry about, let me know and I can include them too.
Auto Eat and Drink for Survival is no longer on nexus... I have no idea why and it doesn't seem to be anywhere else. Edit: Someone posted a link to a dropbox that contains this mod, I have pinned it in the 'Posts' section.
I included strings for both AutoEat.ESM and the Point lookout ESM in 1.2. Choose one of the optional files OR the main one, you don't need both.
