About this mod

Well what about Shepard?...It only made sense that The Commander got some love too. This mod basically gives Shepard's Heavy Onyx armor the respect it deserves.Perfect for Heavy Onyx enjoyers/users.

Originally WAS supposed to be released on N7 Day but grew in scope.

Info:
Bioware advertised Shepard in the Heavy version of the Onyx Armor throughout most if not all of ME1's promotional material but only made it accessible to the Soldier(which was for gameplay reasons you can't have an adept with heavy armor the game would be a cakewalk) which meant that unless you used cheats or other armor mods most players would have never gotten a chance to use this armor EXCEPT in ME2's prologue where it gets blasted to dust. to make it worse in the fact that the Onyx armor has godawful stats which leaves a sour taste because this is supposed to be the armor that is supposed to be associated and iconic with Shepard in ME1.(ME2/3 did a good job with this by making it's iconic armor playable in the first mission and it being part based so it's stats were reasonable)especially since Liara and Legion has parts of this armor in LE2 without the armor having any connection to the player. This mod...

LE1:

1. Boosts the onyx stats to be the most powerful armor in the game(even more than the unused console armor) the difference between this and LE Armor Buffs and other mods like it is it doesn't replace a whole basegame file that other mods might need to use. which means you can enable it/disable it anytime.this mod also affects other characters wearing the onyx armor too which is a good/bad thing(Kaidan will be much more durable at Eden Prime as he wears onyx) as it will serve as a base of armor mods i'm planning and that replaces onyx armors for example the N7 Defender Mod for Male Shepard but it does mean you might have to play the game on hardcore or insanity as this armor will hardly take damage on the easier modes.

2.Replaces the light and medium onyx armors with it's heavy variant in gameplay and during the character select screen(if using entrymenu.pcc mods like Main Menu Trailer Restored (LE1) THAT YOU INSTALL THAT FIRST THEN THIS ) as personally and aesthetically those two variants don't look practical enough to be going on space adventures and all players would have seen both those two armors when starting the game. and also because..the more heavy onyx representation the better(This function has been integrated in the mod and removed as an option..still follow process if you use any entrymenu.pcc mods)

3. An option to make the heavy variant a casual option on the normandy(also works at Shepard's apartment with the Pinnacle Station Mod.because..why not?well in some promo footage espeically this we do see Shepard wearing Onyx on Normandy so wanted it to be a reality....it's designed to be both standalone and also work with Alliance Uniform Consistency if you want to change outfits without disabling or reinstalling the mod.For the ultimate Heavy Onyx playthrough pair this up with 2 and also with Iconic Fashion Party with Shepard Heavy checked.(this mod does also work with Compatible with New Casuals for Femshep LE1 without any patching needed due to casual file names being the same.Install AUC first then that mod and it will overwrite Femshep's Casuals)

4.Orignally in the beta versions of ME1 Shepard would have also had their own HUD images like the rest of the squad. This mod as an option to somewhat add them back. you have Sheploo,Iconic Femshep,Beta Male Shepard,Beta Female Shepard and Opaque Breather to choose from for extra customization.you will need to change this in mod manager if you plan on switching genders. this does not work with HUD enhancements due to how that mod reorganizes the HUD settings.

Double Sided Visors and Visor Clipping Fix is intergrated as well as a patch for ME3 Armor for LE1 as well

Conflicts with Universal N7 Armor

For any users who has another shepard armor mods who still want to use this mod despite conflicts the unofficial way is to delete Male.Player/Female Player.Pcc from the installation folder in this mod. Just know doing that you won't be able to access my other armor mods like ME3 Alliance Armor For Shepard as they require that file especially

LE2:

This is more of a experimental mod as it was born out of curosity and there were issues encountered that may/may not be fixed.Basically removes the visor/breather,replaces the stunt double dummy shepards with Sheploo and Iconic Femshep with a fitted clear visor to fit the helmet before the prendered cutscene of the Normandy being blown up(HeadCanon that Shepard puts the breather back on)Also decreases the opaque visor on Liara's helmet for emotional effect .Comes with a patch for Cerberus and Alliance Uniform Consistency the issues are

1. Shepard's mouth(Especially Femshep) won't move when talking in certain scenes. This is due to Bioware not facesyncing them due to them being under a helmet. This also means funky eyes at certain parts.

2. Shepard's mouth doesn't move at all during the breathing scene when moving through the Normandy to Joker. Have tried to fix this with no avail. Not sure if this even is fixable.

These issues may/may not get fixed so don't report it as its a known issue

If you use custom shepards it probably would be best not use this mod as it would make abosultely no sense. didn't want to do do much replacements  here as Shepard loses the Onyx armor in this game so wanted to keep it realistic and immersive.

Genesis Intro Dialogue Undo Mod is integrated in this mod

Now Includes LE2 Prologue Framework(Note that GIDUM is not included in it. if you want to use it use either the standalone or Cerberus Uniform Consistency Patch)

LE3:

Finds Cutscenes to replace Shepard's armor with Heavy Onyx(think of some of them as facing your old self creating a parallel)Requires Classic Armors (Before people say "BUT SHEPARDS ONYX GOT BLOWN UP IN- it's not farfetched to say he could have gotten another pair of the armor..We do see ME1's armors in vanilla ME2/3 anyway..)

these are

The Clone Boss Fight(Bear in Mind it will always be the red stripe due too much time to convert the armor to LE3's textures)

Armax Aresnal Arena Mirror Match

The Citadel Confrontration with TIM with a bloody textured Heavy Onyx

The Control Ending Speech

Post a ME3Tweaks log if other issues are encountered.
