Changelogs
Version 1.2.1
1.2 used incorrect file paths for all DLC content, this fixes that issue
Version 1.2
Integrated 1.1.1 hotfix into main file, Integrated ALL DLC content (Hearthfire, Dawnguard, and Dragonborn)
Version 1.1.1
Fixed the Markarth banner displaying "MARKARTH" in bright green letters. This issue was caused by an unused vanilla LE texture that's in Cleaned SSE Textures. I fixed it by upscaling the SSE texture instead.
Version 1.1
Rebuilt all textures to have proper separate alpha channels, no more dark textures on certain things
Version 1.01
Included the non-upscaled normal maps from Cleaned SSE Textures due to people experiencing normal map issues without them
Clutter isn't just junk. It includes key things such as barrels, firewood, dead animals, ingredients, wine, and even statues, banners, signs, and shrines, among other things! Clutter gets no love compared to everything else and I was tired of seeing low res clutter with bunches and bunches of high res custom textures, so I took matters into my own hands and made this. (Then decided I may as well cover everything else in the game as other packs)
This was built off of Cleaned SSE Textures so technically speaking, its 4x resolution from the original Skyrim LE textures! (2x SE)
As far as I'm aware, these are the cleanest upscales on Nexus Mods. Most, if not all other upscale projects are older and used either the original LE textures for the upscale (which is half the resolution as a base) or the upscaled textures from SE which had a lot of artifacts. Also, older upscale methods are far less sophisticated and accurate. I used the BSRGANx2 model by cszn for these, using PyTorch.
Project Clarity uses different upscaling methods, and support has been dropped as of October 31st, 2023. (RIP)
This is great to also use as a mod to cover items that aren't already touched by your other mods (and they most likely all aren't)
Be sure to load this mod before any conflicting mods, so that the other mods files get loaded over these ones, and the proper textures are used for those mods assets.
All files are in BC7 Max format. Texture maps are not upscaled, because upscaling them has proven to be extremely difficult to get accurate even with dedicated texture map upscalers, and they provide basically no visual difference at the cost of install space and VRAM.
