- The Elder Scrolls Wiki, about vanilla torches While convenient in some cases, such "game feature" ruins the experience for survival/hardcore oriented runs. This mod aims to fix that, by preventing the aforementioned reset when sheathing or dropping, providing at the same time torch duration customization.
I'm aware that Mallakite made a similar fix (Fleeting Torches) some time ago. I appreciate that mod, but there is an issue with the engine miscalculating durations when saving and exiting the game with the torch active. I wanted a solution where I don't have to constantly monitor this aspect every time I want to play and also adding a few extra features.
