Do you remember when you first played The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim 2011 PC Video Game and discovered that not only there was another variant of the Steel Armor set, but the gauntlets and boots of that variant were actually copies of the Imperial Bracers and Boots that did not match the Steel set as a whole?
 
  
…because with Finally, Non-Imperial Steel B Gauntlets and Boots for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: Special Edition (FNISBGABFTESVSSE), you can now enjoy B-Variant Steel Gauntlets and Boots that now match the Steel Style rather than being copies of the Imperial Bracers and Boots (YOU GET ME). They are COMPATIBLE with your texture replacers! That’s right, COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR TEXTURE REPLACERS.
 
In an optional plugin, the eponymous armour pieces, along with the other B variants (Horned Helmet, Pauldroned Armour), have their day in the limelight with enchanted versions, inserted into the vanilla levelled lists.
 
If it also DISGUSTS YOU that both the pauldroned (ArmorSteelCuirassB) and non-pauldroned (ArmorSteelCuirassA) variants of the Steel Armour have the same stats as in vanilla, you are welcome to download the optional module that visually adds a bit more armour to the A-variant, so it looks as equally armoured as the B-variant so as to justify their equal stats.

So if you ever wanted to fill that Steel-styled Steel B-shaped hole in your The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition 2016 PC Video Game experience, now you can finally find inner calm with this mod.



TECHNICAL AND COMPATIBILITY NOTES

• These new boots and gauntlets bracers replace the Steel Imperial Gauntlets and Steel Shin Boots (ArmorSteelGauntletsB and ArmorSteelBootsB, respectively). They both have their own Armor Addons and are beast race friendly.
• Steel Imperial Gauntlets (ArmorSteelGauntletsB) are now called Steel Bracers, while the Steel Nordic Gauntlets (ArmorSteelGauntletsA), are now just called Steel Gauntlets.
• The gauntlets bracers and boots are amalgamations of pieces from other armour pieces in the Steel set. This is so that these new gauntlets bracers and boots are compatible with any Steel texture replacers you have installed.
• Speaking of compatibility, there are some mods that alter the nifs of vanilla armours that add/change environment map information. Since I personally don’t use those mods and will not download how-many-gigabytes so I can make patches for them, they might not look as visually compatible in that regard. There are also some mods that alter the stats of the Steel B items, so load this mod after them to avoid TRAGIC DISAPPOINTMENT.
• The actual Imperial Bracers and Boots, along with their respective Armor Addons (which had also previously been used by the Steel Imperial Gauntlets and the Steel Shin Boots, respectively) have not been altered because I'm not a sicko.
• In the Enchanted Steel B Variants plugin, the levelled lists SublistEnchArmorSteel[Boots/Cuirass/Gauntlets/Helmet][01/02/03] have been altered to include the enchanted B variants. The enchanted versions of the Steel Cuffed Boots have been altered to include “Cuffed” in the name.
