About this mod

A simple and immersive integration of items from Apachii's Divine Elegance Store to be obtainable through Skyrim's vendors. Clothing and armors are now renamed and rebalanced to integrate seamlessly into inventories of merchants along Skyrim. Powered by Container Item Distribution. Best used alongside a plugin disabling the original store.

Changelogs
An overhaul of implementation of Apachii Divine Elegance Store born out of desire to use the amazing Divine Wardrobe by lilson, but at the same time not being able to justify the existence of a random small shop in the wilds of Skyrim with the absolute craziest of items you won't be able to get anywhere else in Skyrim, but still wanting to wear some of the items. This has been done a couple of times before with integration of items into outfits of random enemies, but... babes, why are you out here being a bandit rocking Henrietta's riding outfit from W3? You're too fabulous for this.

Description
  • Sorts clothes and armor into categories (levelled lists) based on their relative rarity in Elder Scrolls universe.
  • Renames items akin to and inspired by Cut the Crap, implementing lore™.
  • Adjusts armor ratings.
  • Adjusts prices and weights of all items (gold medallion is more expensive than silver medallion!).
  • Redistributes items to blacksmiths, tailor(s), and caravans via Container Item Distributor, leaving npc outfit records untouched.

Details
Items are categorised by "rarity" which defines the number of items of each category being found in containers. This system is admittedly rather hacky, however:
1) there is a large number of items, hence calling for need to implement levelled lists rather than individually distributing each item to each vendor with a set chance, as the containers would have a large chance of over cluttering even with small chances,
2) Container Item Distributor still doesn't fully work with levelled lists, not allowing to distribute items from lists in which items are levelled, and not allowing to distribute items from levelled lists using chances.
I know, there is likely a better way to implement this, but I'm pretty new to CID and any similar tools. In the past, I would just do a quick and dirty edit of my bashed patch to inject the items into the vendor containers, but as you can probably tell, this is a horribly messy way of doing this.

Outside of the categories, a small fraction of the outfits were left out entirely as they stuck out like a sore thumb (most of the items from this mod do that anyway, but on a slightly smaller scale) or do not fit the game visually. This includes, high-heels (exceptions were made here, but worst offenders were left out), modern suits, modern looking dresses (e.g. silk evening gown) and jrpg style dresses, amongst others. Cowboy outfits are cute, but unless there's some ye olde Spirit Halloween store on Tamriel, they are out, sorry</3

Categories:
  • ClothingCapesScarves - capes and scarves not belonging to any sets, unarmored. This actually only includes capes. Fairly common, obtainable through tailors.
  • ClothingSetsUncommon - clothes in line with what is seen "commonly" worn by minor nobles and bards throughout Skyrim. Again, this was based on the choices made in Divine Wardrobe, and as such Sofia Sartor dress from AC falls into this category, while the fancier Elise Rococo dress will be considered "epic" due to its unusual style. Fairly commonly sold by tailors (10 sets), and one set sold by caravans.
  • ClothingSetsRare - clothes worn by Jarls, wealthier nobles, and nobles from other provinces. Silks, lace, and all. Rarely sold by tailors (4 sets).
  • ClothingSetsEpic - clothes not seen commonly anywhere at all, but still loosely fitting into the Elder Scrolls universe considering more "exotic" places e.g. Shivering Isles with its unusual puffy regalia and finery. Very rarely sold by tailors (1 set).
  • Armor - self-explanatory - armored sets, the W2 and W3 ports and stray sets such as Silent Mist armor and etc. These were rigorously rebalanced in terms of armor ratings and prices. Four sets sold by caravans.
  • ArmorSmith - as above, but excluding some of the more "exotic" armor sets. Pretty much what I would imagine a Nord blacksmith to make on a regular basis. Few (3-1) sets sold by blacksmiths (inc. cities, towns, strongholds).
  • Underwear - fairly self-explanatory. Geralt and Yennefer's sets from W2 and W3.
  • Jewelry - necklaces, earrings, and rings. 2013 style chokers and butterfly sets I would have worn back in 2007 in preschool were left out (sorry).
  • JewelrySilver - as above but with gold and amber jewelry removed. Added in v1.0.2.
  • Crowns - crowns and tiaras. Slightly pushing it in terms of immersiveness™, but oh well. They were made very rare.
  • WizardRobes - Avallach's robes, Operator robes, etc. These only come in unarmored variants.

Other relevant stuff:
  • Flower crowns are included and obtainable through crafting only (tried to make the recipes as believable as possible).
  • Two sets: Henrietta's riding outfit (Noble Riding Attire) and Syanna's outfit (Noble Travelling Attire) come both armored and unarmored, but the unarmored versions may be upgraded at the forge to their respective armored ("reinforced") versions. These armored version do not have amazing armor ratings, but leather pants + flowery blouse imo shouldn't offer the same degree of protection as Dragonscale Cuirass (...just use enchantments).
  • Tempering recipes were modified to no longer need the crafting raven.
  • Mod is compatible with 3DNPCs out-of-the-box adding items to the tailor found in Riften (I've tested without 3DNPCs and there weren't any issues, but someone let me know if you encounter any).

Note: I've attempted to distribute some rare and uncommon clothes + underwear to some noble furniture using chance-based distribution but I haven't tested it out properly. As I've mentioned above, chance based distribution of levelled lists is not yet working fully as far as I know, but as it absolutely does not break the game I've decided to leave it in.
If any issues are encountered, find Simply Obtainable Style - Divine Elegance Integration_CID.ini in your data folder and delete the relevant lines (they are captioned in the file and should be easy to find).

All items included in the lists and redistributed to vendors have been renamed and rebalanced in terms of stats. I've tried to keep the names fairly lore-friendly, but also threw in some Easter Eggs for an avid Elder Scrolls fan.
...Example?
Fairy Elven Gown has been renamed to Fine Imperial Gown because a similar style can be observed in Nibenese style clothes in ESO as well as developer diaries for Beyond Skyrim: Cyrodiil. Why Imperial instead of Nibenese? Because I feel like the name would sound too out-of-place for the default Skyrim naming system, and I'm already stretching it with a lot of other items.
Another example includes the lovely AC ports of Elise and Evie dresses which remind me a lot of the dresses worn by characters in Oblivion's Shivering Isles DLC, and as such, I've decided to follow a similar naming convention, e.g. blue Elise Rococo dress has been renamed to Light Blue Regalia, and red Elise de La Serre dress is now called Wine Finery.
Lastly, one other example worth mentioning is the modern style wedding dress. I was very close to excluding it when hmmm I stumble upon this. So, instead I put it into the epic category and renamed it to Old-Fashioned Wedding Dress, as ESO's events take place in 2nd Era and I have no idea whether this style of wedding dress is still present in 4th Era anywhere on Tamriel.

I was hugely inspired by the Cut the Crap! series by MintedTea, so there are a few similarities between my and MintedTea's names, however I've tried to be as original as possible implementing my own names on as many items as I could. I strongly recommend to check the series out as it covers loads of other popular mods, and if you're interested in my mod, you'll be 100% interested in their mods.

FAQ
Compatibility?
Should be compatible with just about anything as there aren't any other mods out there editing Apachii DE Store records as far as I know (except for Cut the Crap, if you decide to have both mods in your load order, load mine after).

I don't agree with your naming/items excluded/armor ratings but like the premise of the mod. What do I do?
Everything is easily editable with SSEEdit from the items distributed in the LLs to the item records. You are free to make any edits you want. Even publish them if you'd like.

I have an idea for a better implementation of your idea
Then let me know, or implement it yourself.
