About this mod
Fixes a few combat related issues in Flying Mod Beta by porroone and Flying Mod Overhaul by Indefiance.

This mod is a small edit of the Flying Mod script that changes the following:
- Using the mouse to attack should now be properly detected. This fix involved explicitly telling the script to use mouse instead of the auto mode (i.e. GetMappedKey("Left Attack/Block", 1) instead of just leaving GetMappedKey("Left Attack/Block") and letting it detect the device), so I also included a version with forced gamepad mode (GetMappedKey("Left Attack/Block", 2)).
- Added a short delay after shouting so it doesn’t immediately happen again if you hold the key a bit too long.
- Added a delay before casting a spell to prevent it from happening when the casting animation just started.
- Shortened the time needed to hold the shout key to make it more similar to normal shouting.
- [V1.1] It’s possible to shout while moving forward (helpful for aerial battles with dragons).
Notes
Combat actions performed while flying are not the same as normal attacks. What happens is animating the player, and then, depending on what is equipped/pressed:
- a special beam attack is performed if a weapon is used,
- equipped spell is cast,
- if the shout key is pressed, the spell of the equipped shout is cast depending on how long the key is held (imitating the use of 1, 2, or 3 words of power).
This should still raise magic skills, not sure about the others. Bows don’t have their own animation and implementation, so they won’t work. If you really need to use a bow or a standard attack (instead of the 'fake' ones), switch to first person view and do it, and then go back to third when you want to see flying animations (if you move in first person view you’ll be walking in midair).
Installation
1. Install Flying Mod Beta by porroone and Flying Mod Overhaul by Indefiance (Converted for SSE) by DimitriyKostov. Make sure to follow the instructions carefully so you don’t end up with animations not working.
2. Install my override (if manually: unpack the archive into your Skyrim Special Edition\Data folder), confirm if asked to overwrite (this will replace the AAFlyScriptB.pex).
3. Make sure everything works properly.
Given that this is only a script override, it should work for LE too.
