Makes her skills and gear fit her boasting a bit more, i.e. she's more powerful in combat, but without being OP. Mostly done by improving book rewards. It's compatible with visual replacers, as this mod doesn't touch M'rissi's directly. ESL

Changelogs
Version 1.0.6
- Updated for compatibility with Awareness: exotic armor is no longer tagged as elven
- Stagger avoidance for book reward increased to 25%
- Chances of extra damage and stagger dealt after book reward increased to 10%.
- Tightened the damage bonus in book perk when target is severely wounded: <30% to <=20%
- Simplfied conditions for Rear Guard new reward so damage reduction happens whenever she is not wearing heavy armor, instead of when not wearing heavy armor and wearing either 3 pieces of light armor or 3 pieces of clothing.
- Mixed Unit Tactics reward now also reduces the weight of light shields to zero
- The Rear Guard reward now also increases percent blocked by 30%, reduces her incoming damage from any source by 30% while at half health or less, as long as she's wearing either three pieces of Light armor or clothing, and no heavy armor
- Ahzirr Traajijazeri reward now also makes M'rissi have a 15% chance of avoiding stagger, a 8% chance of inflicting 30% more damage than expected, and inflicting 100% more stagger than expected. I like this because the book clearly talks about fighting dirty.
- Cherim's Heart reward improved: critical hit multiplier with dagger power attacks increased to 8x and fixed inconsistency, where critical hits with daggers had a chance of 25% instead of the intended 30%
- Cats of Skyrim reward now also bumps her power attack damage by 15%. I drew inspiration from the reference to sabre cats pouncing.
- Marksmanship Lesson reward now also bumps bow damage when hitting targets at full health or slightly injured (95% Health percentage threshold) by 50%
- Black Arrow rewards tweaked: now the crit hit multiplier is 10x but the chance was reduced to 10% chance. Additionally, wounded targets (<30% Health) take 75% more arrow damage
- Racial Phylogeny reward now also make her bypass 50% armor with dagger power attacks.
- She moves 10% faster at all times, stacks multiplicatively AFAIK with her NPC movement speed of 135, which is 35 above normal. For reference, Inigo uses the value of 130.
- Her custom dagger now has a chance of staggering enemies on hit, unlike the rest of the daggers
- Reformulated descriptions and names for clarity and perusal
Version 1.0.4
- Book perk that increases sword and dagger dmg: +20%->25%
- Custom dagger and bow weight has been reduced slightly
- Book perk crit hit with dagger bonus increased to 7x
- Book perk crit hit with bow bonus increased to 9x
- M'rissi's custom armor and clothes bonus now depend on her Light Armor skill and not your Smithing skill. I thought the original design was a bit weird considering the game has a mechanism for improving things based on your Smithing and Enchanting skills, so I switched that. Additionally the armor bonuses was toned down slightly: 100-200->90-180 armor, but improved slightly for her clothes: 20%-40%->25%-50% magic dmg reduction.
- Removed needless conditionals checking if M'rissi's perks were held by M'rissi. If you want to cheat, knock yourself out, but a rule of thumb in development is to minimize the conditionals as much as feasible.
- Probably nobody cares about this but I added descriptive names for each edit so it's clear what each edit does when you read them in xEdit (and what the intention is).
TLDR: Improves M'rissi's competence as a follower, mostly through her book quest rewards, making her useful but not overpowered, since the original capabilities were underwhelming.
------------------------
M'rissi originally only has the Light Foot perk to avoid traps. The rewards for the book quest are for the most part underwhelming, and this mod is a solution to this, so she becomes a very competent, yet not overpowered follower. The following was added:
Default Abilities
Her damage with bows scales with Archery more strongly: every skill point in Archery boosts her damage by an extra 0.3%
She shoots with bows and crossbows +30% faster
She stagger targets with bows 30% of the time
Her power attackswith daggers only have a 30% chance of critically hitting
+50 Health bonus to match what all other followers in Skyrim have by default
+10% faster movement
1º Batch of Books
Mixed Unit Tactics: Originally, it made all light armor weight nothing. Now, light shields also will weight nothing.
The Rear Guard: Originally increased armor rating of Light Armor by 10%. Now it increases by 30%, and she can resist 30% more damage when blocking, and when at half health or less, resist 20% of all incoming physical damage, as long as she is wearing no heavy armor.
Ahzirr Traajijazeri: Originally, it gives her a 5% chance of avoiding 99% of physical damage. Now, following the 'dirty fight' theme from the book, it also enables her to randomly do 30% more damage with any attack with and inflict 100% more stagger (10% chance per attack). Additionally, she has a 25% chance of resisting stagger from attacks.
2º Batch of Books
Cherim's Heart: Originally increases damage with one-handed weapons by 10%. Now it increases to 25% (only daggers and swords), and her critical hits with daggers will do 8 times the critical damage of the weapon.
Cats of Skyrim: Originally, it makes her move faster with the bow. Now, drawing inspiration from the book's content on sabre cat attacks, it also increases her power attack damage by 15%.
The Golden Ribbon of Merit: Originally, it increases her damage with bows by 10%. Now it increases to 30%.
3º Batch of Books
The Marksmanship Lesson: Originally, it used the Bullseye effect from the vanilla perk. The implementation of this was flawed, because it could be changed by perk overhauls, so I ensured that effect is what happens without fail. Additionally, enemies at >=95% health, take 50% more arrow damage.
The Black Arrow, v2: Originally, it adds a 10% chance of doing 10% more critical damage with bows. Because critical damage in vanilla is extremely low and generally useless, now she has a 10% chance of causing 10 times the critical damage of the bow. Additionally, wounded targets (<= 20% health) take 75% more arrow damage.
Racial Phylogeny: Originally, it makes her ranged attacks bypass 30% of armor. Now arrows, bolts, and also power attacks with daggers bypass 50%, like enhanced crossbows. This was done partially because in vanilla, enemies usually have very little armor, unless using difficulty mods.
Special gear changes
Her armors originally increased her armor value by 200-400 points through a hidden perk that depended on the player'sSmithing skill. This bonus was a bit excessive, so now it's 90-180, and depends exclusively on her own Light Armor skill, allowing a more organic increase in armor. Essentially, this was, and still is, designed to be an excellently protective armor that she can wear without any management from the player.
Her custom clothes originally increased her resistance to damage from magic by 20%-40%through a perk depending on the player's Enchanting skill. Now, the resistance is increased to 25%-50%, to compensate for the lack of armor, making it effective gear to deal with wizards, and depends again exclusively on her Light Armor skill.
Her unique custom bow is now more powerful, between an ebony and a daedric in terms of damage per shot, but is much faster and lighter, and has the same critical damage as a Dragonbone bow, with higher critical hit chances(15%).
Her unique custom dagger does the same damage as an ebony dagger, but it has 8 critical hit damage bonus, which means it's possible for her to do additional 64 damage on a critical hit. It's also 50% lighter and has a stagger value, allowing it to possibly stagger enemies. Finally, I fixed the issue where her dagger would sound on sheathing and unsheathing as a sword. Now it should sound like an actual dagger.
Her exotic armor is no longer tagged as Elven. It was causing issues with my awareness mod, and it was serving no purpose anyway since none of the armors are upgradable -- they improve by other means.
Miscellaneous
Small optimizations by removing needless conditional checks in her perks.
Added descriptive names for each edit that you can look up in xEdit. It explains what each thing does essentially and more importantly, what it intends to do.

This is compatible with my other M'rissi mods and any visual replacers. That's it. Happy adventuring with one of our favoritest cats. Treat her well, PTSD is no joke.
