Description

Allows you to specify a suffix on every storage label name and that storage will be considered a Hoarding storage. It also provides a quick way to access them however you want from three hoarding modes.

Features

  • Access any storage with the specified suffix you've applied by using a matching button for that suffix. This ensures easy access and convenience.
  • You can choose a hoarding mode for how you want to access them.
  • Also works with storages in Cyclops (Locker, Wall Locker, and 5 default built-in embedded).

Configurable Settings
(Menu -> Options -> Mods)

  • Hoarding Mode: Choose how you want to access hoarding storages.
Normal: Place your items from your inventory into the temporarily opened LazyHoarding Container, and it will automatically move any placed items into the available found hoarding storages. If some items can't be moved to hoarding storages due to insufficient space, you will need to take them back into your inventory.
Direct: You directly access all of the found hoarding storages, opening them one by one, just as if you were physically accessing them yourself.
Direct Skip Full: This is the same as Direct, but it will skip any full storages.
  • Include Storage Types: Select whether to include storage type options: Locker, Wall Locker, Waterproof Storage, Locker embedded in Cyclops to be used as hoarding storage. (NOTE: if included, it doesn't mean you will access all of the storage types at once. The storage needs to have the correct suffix you are looking for to access.)
  • Max Storage Distance: Maximum Distance from the player to access hoarding storages with matching suffix for the assigned access button (you will only access storage within this range, those that are out of range won't be accessed even having the same suffix).
  • Storage Suffix Access Button(1-9): Assign a button to be used for accessing hoarding storage withs corresponding suffix (you can ignore the keys that you don't need and right-click to revert it back to default: none).
  • Storage Suffix(1-9): *In File* You can manually edit the name suffix that you want in the config file found at [Subnautica Root]\BepInEx\config\LazyHoarding\config.json (default: _1 - _9)

Use Cases

  • Specify your custom suffix in a file or use the default one, and access them however you want from three modes.
  • Use the Normal mode if you are indifferent to how items are placed in hoarding storages.
  • Use the Direct mode if you wish to manually put items in and retrieve items from hoarding storages.
  • Use the Direct Skip Full mode if you want the features of the Direct mode, but wish to automatically skip any full storage.
  • All of the options can be changed at any time in the game, and they will take effect without the need to restart the game, except for the storage suffix, which requires file editing.

Known Issues / Limitations / Untested

  • Normal Mode does not guarantee the order of storage used to store items first when multiple storage have the same suffix. It is only concerned with which suffix it is supposed to look for in order to store the provided items.
  • Normal Mode will only store items from your inventory into storage with the specified suffix, but it cannot retrieve them. Once an item is stored, you need to locate it within the storage that has the corresponding suffix and retrieve it manually. Therefore, it is advised that you carefully place and arrange your storage.
  • Be cautious when storing items in Waterproof Lockers. Once you apply a suffix to these storage units, you will be able to transfer items to them (if they are within range.) However, they can occasionally be stolen by Stalkers, making them hard to locate. In such cases, you can use the direct mode to retrieve your items.
  • WARNING: Please be aware that I may not have thoroughly tested every edge case of the mod's functionality. There is a possibility of losing important personal belongings due to unforeseen issues. Use the mod at your own risk, and consider making backups of your data before using it. However, for the most part, it should work fine.

Requirements

  • BepInEx
  • Nautilus
  • Tweaks and Fixes: A feature of nameable labels for "Locker" and "Cyclops Locker" is required in order for you to change their label names. This feature is necessary for this mod to work with them.
  • Tested on game version 71137(2.0 update)

Installation

Place the mod folder (LazyHoarding) along with the (.dll) file in the [Subnautica Root Directory]/BepInEx/plugins
