About this mod

Replica of the Great Lakes bulk freighter Daniel J Morrell, can easily become your new floating moving base.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
The SS Daniel J Morrell was a bulk freighter that sank in a storm in 1966 with the loss of 28 of her 29 crew. The ship broke in two in a storm, the sinking is notable due to the stern travelling under its own power after the break. Her sister, Edward Y Townsend was damaged in the same storm, she was laid up for 2 years and in 1968 she was sold to a scrapyard, however while under tow she encountered a storm in the North Atlantic and also broke in two, approximately 400 miles off Newfoundland in the general area Titanic sank.

The replica has a fully upgraded cauldron and cooking station and a small mess area in the rear deckhouse. The stern section also contains 4 ovens, representing the boilers, she had 2 boilers which were double ended (The original scotch boilers she was built with). The boiler room can be accessed via a ladder in the stern deckhouse. I did not model the engines or screw and rudder due to not being able to accurately model it.

The cargo hold is empty, it can be converted to anything you want it to be, it can very easily become a large mobile base, with space for almost anything you can imagine.

The bow contains 2 crew rooms with 2 bunks in each and a cabin for the captain. It is connected to the hold via a door and to the boiler room via a door at the rear of the hold. It is connected to the forward deckhouse by stairs. There is also a chart room below the pilothouse. The pilothouse can be accessed by ladders on the outside of the chartroom

The deck has hatches of her cargo holds modeled in, in addition to a marker where the ship approximately broke, between holds 11 and 12, not all hatches were modeled due to it needing the ship to be larger (which unity does not like). It has 14 hatches modeled, 3 less than the actual ship had with 17 hatches.

I left out a lot of the smaller details due to being unable to model it correctly or it possibly causing lag on lower end machines.

Installation:

Simply download the world and put into your valheim saves folder, both the .db and .fwl file must be in the folder for it to work.
The valheim saves folder is in: Users\your name\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim

The ship is at the coordinates X -801 Y 550

known issues:
When commanding from the pilothouse without the render limits mod, the raft will not be able to be commanded due to it being unloaded by the game.

If you have issues with anything please ask and I will respond.
