Code of Conduct
APS has always been committed to the importance of science being conducted, discussed, presented and published in ways that promote the lively and productive exchange of ideas. This means avoiding actions or speech that could reasonably be construed as harassing or personally disparaging, including behavior during APS Conventions and virtual events. The expectations for conduct at APS Conventions are as follows: “APS encourages and expects all participants to conduct themselves professionally and, out of respect for others and for the spirit of our gathering, to refrain from actions or speech that could reasonably be construed as harassing or personally disparaging.” Please contact APS at [email protected] with any questions or to report a conduct issue.
