I am a Clinical Psychologist Registrar, originally from Ireland and recently graduated from Curtin University in Perth, WA. I am a curious, collaborative, and empathetic clinician, passionate about supporting young people and adults with a range of presenting issues, including anxiety and mood disorders. More specifically, I am interested in trauma presentations and addiction, as well as chronic health conditions such as pain and disturbed sleep. I have training in the following modalities: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, EMDR and Acceptance Commitment Therapy.
Prior to moving to sunny OZ, I trained at both Trinity College Dublin and NUIM in my home country of Ireland. I worked in community mental health settings and within the disability sector. These experiences have taught me the importance of creating a safe space for people to explore their difficulties and I look forward to sharing the journey with clients.
Besides my interest in psychology, I am a qualified yoga teacher and have a keen interest for the outdoors. I love ocean water swimming and try my best to surf. On winter days when the temperatures are cold, I love to read and spend time cooking in my kitchen! I love to travel and try to visit my home Ireland as often as I can.
