Joanne is an AHPRA registered Clinical Psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Joanne works with adults of all ages and has extensive experience the areas of anxiety, mood disorders (including depression), adjustment to life transitions, chronic illness, pain management, trauma and grief and loss. Joanne believes in creating a safe emotional space whilst working alongside her clients to help them achieve meaningful change in their everyday life.
Joanne has undertaken training in evidence based approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Schema therapy, Dialectical behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and Eye movement desensitisation reprocessing (EMDR). Joanne combines aspects from these therapeutic approaches to formulate an individualised treatment plans.
