I work across the lifespan to support clients with a variety of presentations including Anxiety, Stress, Mood, Trauma, Grief and Loss, and Neurodiversity. I have knowledge and experience applying a number of evidence-based interventions including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I also specialise in the assessment of neurodivergent cognitive profiles including Autism and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, along with psychometric testing for IQ and learning difficulties.
I have a particular interest in working with children and adolescents, including assessing for Autism, Intellectual Disability, ADHD, Learning Disorders, and Gender Diversity support. In addition to being a registered psychologist, I am also a registered teacher (in both QLD and NSW) and have over 15 years’ experience in Inclusive Practice and Counselling.
A strong therapeutic relationship is essential to achieving positive outcomes, and I believe this is gained by providing respectful listening, compassion and gentle guidance. I work from a strengths-based lens and am very conscious of working in a neurodiversity affirming framework.
