I seek to help people to heal from the pain of their past. In my experience our suffering stems from the attempts we make to ward off emotional and relational pain. The problem is that what protected us in the past is causing our suffering in the present. If we were hurt in relationships, therapy offers an opportunity to have a new kind of healing relationship. I’m optimistic about the possibility for deep and lasting change. I seek to offer you more than strategies; I seek to help people to find deep emotional healing.
I'm a Clinical Psychologist and I offer Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). The purpose of therapy is to resolve your problems. I aim to do this by helping you to understand the emotional root of your difficulties so you achieve long lasting change rather than a temporary fix.
