Owen enjoys working with a range of psychological issues including anxiety, depression, anger, borderline personality/traits, trauma and relationship difficulties. Owen has experience working with older adolescents and adults of all ages. Owen has a particular interest in working with young people struggling with personality, mood or anxiety related difficulties. Owen’s therapeutic approach has an interpersonal and psychodynamic emphasis, helping clients gain deeper insight into themselves and their difficulties, develop self-acceptance and confidence, and resolve obstacles to emotional growth.
Owen has over 3 years experience working in youth and adult mental health and has completed a Masters in Clinical Psychology. Owen's approach is collaborative, non-judgmental and insight-driven with a focus on building strong therapeutic relationships with people based on trust.
